Sukanya is a seasoned HR professional with over a decade of experience in the IT and services industry. As the Chief Human Resources Officer at Sundew, she spearheads the company’s HR division, which encompasses Talent Acquisition, Operational HRM, Strategic HRM, Labour Law & Compliance, and PoSH. She also works closely with the digital and content teams to ensure HR initiatives align with Sundew’s evolving business needs.

After earning her Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Brand Merchandising from Western Michigan University, Sukanya leveraged her people and customer service skills at global brands like Victoria’s Secret and American Eagle Outfitters. During this time, she gained hands-on experience in floor management, merchandising, and customer handling, honing her ability to optimize team effectiveness - a principle she continues to uphold at Sundew.

Sukanya’s journey at Sundew is a testament to her leadership and vision. From managing a 5-member team to successfully onboarding 200+ professionals, she has played a pivotal role in building a workforce that directly contributes to Sundew’s growth and success. She has been instrumental in defining company culture and values, ensuring they resonate across all levels of the organization.

With expertise in end-to-end talent acquisition, compensation management, employee counseling and retention, business strategy, organizational behavior etc., Sukanya has established herself as a key driver of Sundew’s HR excellence. She holds an Executive Certification in Strategic HRM from IIM Calcutta (2024-25), is a certified AI-powered HR leader, and is a Level 1 certified NLP professional. Additionally, she is trained in PoSH and serves as the Chair of Sundew’s ICC.
